GARDEN WEDDING | WINCHESTER

Winchester Hampshire Wedding

This is the wedding of Eleanor and Alastair who got married at a small local church just outside Winchester Hampshire. They then had a garden Tipi reception in a friends family garden. Bridal prep, church and reception all 5 minutes within each other. This doesn’t happen that often.

I meet the lovely couple the week before the wedding in Winchester at one of my favourite Vegan hotspots, Rawberry! They took me through their day and they were so lovely, so loved up and so full of excitement.

Raring to go, I arrived at the Eleanor’s family home and was so warmly welcomed. I popped over to the beautiful church where Eleanors mum was helping arrange all the beautiful flowers that a family friend had done. The church looked beautiful.

Eleanor had a lovely chilled out morning with her family before heading over to the church to say her ‘I do’s’.

What I love about local weddings is all the locals coming out to support the bride on her way to the church and Eleanors proud father leading her to marry her man.

Church light! You cannot beat it! When it hits right it is so beautiful. Check out the brides entrance and the bride and grooms exit, it just hits them right.

One of my absolute favourite shots was the confetti shot. Not a surprise as I normally love a confetti shot, but this one was extra amazing. Firstly the light just hit the church at the right time, highlighting the couple perfectly. Then secondly the confetti bombs! I’ve always been a fan of the more confetti the better and this just proves it!

These guys know how to travel in style. With only a small journey to the Tipi, they still made it worthwhile with an amazing vintage convertible.

After some emotional speeches, I took the guys into a field for some golden hour magic. Eleanors veil plus a wind storm made it even more magical.
