St Giles House, Dorset, Styled Shoot with Fern Godfrey Wedding Planning

St Giles House has always been on my top list of places to shoot at. It is truly stunning and ultimate venue goals!

Fern Godfrey and I go way back. I submitted my wedding to her at Rock My Wedding back in 2014 and then submitted the first wedding I ever shot to her in 2015 when I started Carrie Lavers Photography.

Fast forward to 2019 and Fern asked me to be part of a styled shoot she was planning for her own business Fern Godfrey Wedding Planning.

As fern was so supportive in my business set up and given I knew this shoot would be amazing I jumped at the chance. Especially when she then told me the venue was St Giles House Dorset.

Meeting for the first time was very funny given we have known each other for years but never actually met or talked. Our love of weddings isn’t the only thing we have in common. We both also have 3 year olds, her daughter Elle (which is my girls name choice, but we had a boy) was at the shoot and oh my how adorable!

This shoot was the most amazing shoot I have ever been a part of. EVERYTHING was amazing. Fern was the creative genius behind it all, the colour palette was just so dreamy!

Julita London has the most beautiful dresses I have ever seen! Can I get married again please!!

Loulabel Florals did all of the floral goodness, and there was a lot of it. Not only are they super talented but they are the nicest people EVER!

This was just one of those dreamy days where I am so happy I do what I do! Spending the day with creative women rocking the wedding industry world!
