CHERRY BARN WEDDING RYE

So this is how you embrace the weather on your wedding day. You don’t give a s**t and have the best day regardless!

It was constant rain from 2pm (ceremony time) until dark. In these situations you only really have on choice and that is to embrace the weather. These guys did that perfectly.

My one piece of advice is to have a wet weather plan and ensure that your venue have a plan and execute it. On this particular day I became the wedding planner as well as the photographer due to the venue not having a plan.

With the ceremony being inside, after the confetti shot (also inside), there was no-where for the guests to go. This became stressful for the couple as staff were trying to clear the area with guests still there. The rain cleared so the couple wanted to get everyone out, but the planner was nowhere to be found so I had to get everyone out. Happy couple, happy photographer.

We got all the family formals shot during this dry patch and I managed to get a few shots before the rain came again. You know the epicness of the family when they are singing and dancing behind you are you are shotting formals.

What a day!!
